I was just thinking about the really tough journey Deontre's mother, Tywania, went through all these years. I can’t even begin to imagine the constant heartache and frustration she must have felt during those long six years. Yet she never gave up, consistently reaching out to the Little Rock Police Department to make sure her son's case didn’t fall through the cracks. Her persistence and strength are truly commendable. It's a powerful reminder of the impact a dedicated family member can have on a case. I hope this arrest finally brings her some peace, and serves as encouragement to other families going through similar situations to keep pushing for justice. Anyone else on here think that having a family member advocate so relentlessly can really make a difference in cold cases like this one?
I just can’t imagine what it must have been like for Deontre Rhodes' family during those six long years of uncertainty. It really hits home the strength and resolve that victims' families show, especially his mom, Tywania. Hats off to her persistence and dedication. It really makes me think about these unsolved cases and how much they weigh on families who just want answers. The arrest of Rodney Franklin brings some relief, but it’s also a reminder of how the justice system sometimes takes too long. I hope Tywania and her family finally find the peace they deserve, knowing their relentless drive has kept Deontre’s case moving forward. Their strength gives hope to others still waiting. Stay strong, Rhodes family—we’re all supporting you.
