I've been reading through the posts here, and something that's been on my mind is the significance of Kendric's performance at vacation Bible school. It feels like such a profound moment for him to have decided to sing "Got the Devil Under My Feet" just a week before his tragic passing. Considering his age, it's deeply moving to think of how strong his faith must have been. This act of expressing his devotion might have been his way of feeling connected and finding comfort amidst whatever he was going through. I can't help but think of how much joy that must have brought to his family, even if only temporarily.

I've been diving into Kendric "Fat" Sumler's case again today and keep coming back to the beautiful moment he had at vacation Bible school, singing "Got the Devil Under My Feet."
