I can't stop thinking about how utterly devastating this must be for Charles Harris Jr.'s family. The randomness and senselessness of drive-by shootings really hit hard. I mean, he was just doing a simple favor, giving a friend a ride home—something so mundane and routine. It's terrifying how quickly things can take a turn like that. It really makes you reflect on how precious and unpredictable life can be. I can't imagine what his mother, Rachel, and sister, Michele, are going through. Losing someone in such a violent way has to be incredibly tough. I sincerely hope that the community steps up to provide any bit of information they might have, and that the authorities find some leads soon. Charles deserves justice, and his family deserves peace. Let's keep them in our thoughts and push for more awareness around preventing such tragic incidents in our communities.
