Has anyone else noticed the eerie calm in Ratcliff these days? It’s such a small, tight-knit community where everyone pretty much knows everyone, and now it feels like there’s this cloud hanging over the town. I’ve been thinking about Dustin's upbringing and what might have led to such an unimaginable crime. Michael and Kathy were well-liked by many, especially since Michael dedicated so much of his time to caring for others at Mercy Hospital and was active at his church. I find myself wondering what could have driven Dustin to this point. Was it a sudden snap or something that built up over time? It's difficult to grasp how a young man could reach a place where he would allegedly harm his own family.
