I've been following the case of Stephanie Malicoat, and I just can't stop thinking about those poor kids who were present during the incident. I can't even imagine how traumatic it must have been for them to witness something so awful. It breaks my heart to think about what they might be going through now and the long-term impact it could have on their lives.
I'm really hoping that they have a solid support system and access to counseling to help them process everything. Has there been any word on whether the authorities or local organizations are stepping in to provide support for them? Kids are so resilient, but they shouldn't have to bear such heavy burdens at such a young age.
