I came across a touching aspect of Charlene Gilley’s case that hasn’t been widely discussed. Did anyone else read about the small memorials that were created by her friends and family around Waldron? They’ve placed these beautiful wooden benches at her favorite spots around town, with little plaques in her memory. I think it’s a beautiful way to keep her spirit alive and provide a place for people to sit, reflect, and remember her kindness. It’s truly moving to see how the community has come together to honor her life. I hope these places bring some peace to those who knew her and offer a lasting tribute to both her and her unborn son, Charlie. If anyone has visited these spots, does it feel like a comforting way to remember her, or perhaps even a way to connect with her presence?
