Has anyone else been thinking about firearm safety in light of what happened to Newt? It's just so devastating to think about how a moment's misjudgment can lead to such a tragedy. I've been reading up on hunting safety tips since this incident, and it’s really opened my eyes. I can’t imagine the pain the Hodge family is enduring, especially Kasey who also got hurt. It's a stark reminder to all of us about the importance of always double-checking that firearms are secure, especially around vehicles. Maybe more awareness and education could prevent a similar accident from happening in the future. Keeping the Hodge family in my thoughts.

Has anyone else come across the details about the rodeo event that was organized for Newt Hodge's family? It really warms my heart to see how the community came together for them in such a meaningful way. Organizing an event like that takes a lot of effort, and it must have been a comfort to the family to see how loved and supported they were during such a difficult time. From what I've read, Newt was really passionate about his rodeo activities, so it feels fitting that the community chose this as a way to honor him. It's a touching reminder of how important it is for us to come together and support one another, especially in moments of tragedy. If anyone attended, I’d love to hear how the event went—it sounds like it was a beautiful tribute.
