I can't stop thinking about the vigil they held for Robert last year. I wasn't able to attend, but people have shared how beautiful and emotional it was. It's so moving to know that over 116 candles were lit in his memory. Each one of those flames represented someone whose life Robert touched. I've read some of the messages on the memorial page, and they really show just how loved he was. It's encouraging to see a community come together in such a supportive way even after such a terrible loss. For anyone who attended or contributed, it must’ve been a comforting gesture for his family amid their grief. If you were there, what moment from the vigil stood out to you the most? ❤️
I've been following Robert L. Hayes IV's case, and I can't stop thinking about his kids, Carson and Kamya. What an unimaginable loss for these little ones to lose their dad so cruelly. As a parent, it really hits home how important it is to cherish every moment with our children.
From what I've read, Robert was such a loving and devoted father. His friends and family have poured their hearts out on that memorial page, and you can feel the love he had for his children through their words. It's tragic that they have to grow up without him.
I truly hope that support surrounds Carson and Kamya, ensuring that they feel loved and never forget the amazing person their dad was. It's stories like these that really bring home the rippling effects of gun violence. No family should have to endure this pain.
