Has anyone else looked into the timeline of events leading up to the shooting? I find it unsettling how quickly things escalated when Derrick showed up. From what I’ve heard, James didn’t even have a chance to reach safety before the fatal shot. It makes me wonder what kind of history or interaction the two might have had before that night. Such a tragic loss for the community. My heart goes out to James’s family and everyone who knew him. It’s important we remember him for the life he lived, not just how he died.
