I've been thinking a lot about the role technology plays in these investigations, especially cases like Amos Coleman's. ShotSpotter seems to have been crucial in rapidly getting police to the scene to at least try to save him. I can't help but wonder how different things might be if such technologies were more widely adopted or improved. It's disheartening to see young lives like Amos's cut short, and my thoughts are with his family as they continue to navigate through this tragedy. Are there any updates on newer technologies being used to prevent such horrors, or is there more that can be done within our communities directly? Our hearts are with everyone affected, and efforts to reduce these incidents must continue strong.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic case of Amos Coleman and something that's been on my mind is the role of ShotSpotter in this. It seems like this technology might have been crucial in pinpointing the exact time and location of the shooting, allowing officers to respond quickly. It makes me wonder just how many cases like these could benefit from similar tech. I'm grateful it was in place to help bring some form of justice for Amos and his loved ones, but it’s so frustrating to think about the levels of violence that even necessitate such measures. It’s hard not to feel for the community and Amos’s family, knowing this is only one piece of a very painful puzzle. Anyone else have thoughts on how effective these systems are, or will be, in the future?
