I’m still trying to wrap my head around this senseless tragedy. It’s especially tough knowing Alex and Marcus were so young and had their entire lives ahead of them. I read about Alex’s mom, Keysha, and her profound grief over losing her son and his best friend. Her words really hit hard, particularly about not having any justice yet. It was shocking for this to happen in such a public place like McCain Mall, where so many people must have been around. I can’t help but think that someone must have seen something. I really hope more people come forward with any details they might have, however small they seem. The community has come together to support the families, but the fear and worry about rising violence are very real. My thoughts are with both families and friends, hoping they find the strength they need during such a painful time. If you know anything, please reach out to the authorities. It's important that we do what we can to help find justice for Alex and Marcus.
