Has anyone else noticed the number of cases like Malaiha Davis' where the initial response seems to be a blanket assumption of runaway? It's so frustrating because what if there's something more sinister at play? I understand resources are stretched, but it seems like assuming the worst might lead to quicker resolutions. I remember reading that Malaiha was last seen on May 23, 2021, and it just baffles me that there haven't been any major breakthroughs since then.
