Hi everyone,

I've been thinking about how random this act of violence was and how it could have happened to anyone. It's terrifying to think that Carol Lynn Noel, who was just doing her job that evening, could be taken from the world in such a senseless way. The Firefighters' Union Hall was meant to be a place where people relaxed and enjoyed each other’s company, but instead, it became the site of such heartbreak.

I keep wondering about the impact on those who survived and those who lost loved ones that night. Imagine the patrons who were forced to witness such horror. There must still be ripple effects of trauma in the community.

It’s shocking how the lives of good, innocent people can be shattered in a single moment. It makes me appreciate the efforts by law enforcement to finally bring justice, but the emptiness must remain for those who knew and loved Carol.

Sending thoughts to anyone else who's grappling with similar feelings over this tragedy. These victims deserve to be remembered.
I can’t stop thinking about how fearless Carol must have been. Working as a bartender, especially at a place where you know the regulars and feel like you're part of a community, probably feels safe and even comforting. But for that night to end the way it did is just unimaginable. It’s hard to wrap my head around the terror and chaos that must have unfolded in those moments. I have so much respect for the families of all the victims, living each day with such a profound loss. Does anyone know if there were any measures taken afterward by the Union Hall or similar venues to prevent something like this from happening again?
