Has anyone looked into how Tony Mendez’s family coped after his tragic death? It’s unimaginable the kind of fear and pain his loved ones must have felt, not just losing him so violently but also being caught in the middle of such a terrifying crime spree. It was such a senseless act, and he was just an ordinary guy trying to get home. I hope his family found some comfort and healing over the years. The randomness of the crime spree really disrupted the sense of safety in the community. It's just devastating that Tony was the first of many targeted in such a brutal way. If anyone has any information on memorials or ways the community supported his family, I’d love to know more.
