Imagine the strength it must have taken to not only call 911 but also arm herself to protect her family. Her courage in that moment is awe-inspiring and a testament to the lengths a mother will go to shield her loved ones. I can't even begin to fathom the trauma she went through and the road to recovery she has faced since that fateful day. I hope Gina has found some semblance of peace and continues to have the support she needs from her community. Her survival is nothing short of a miracle, and I hope justice for Raul and Brisenia brings some comfort to her.
