Hello everyone, I just wanted to chime in on the tragedy that happened on Delaney Road. I can't stop thinking about Rhemidee Iyeshala Barnes and her little one. It’s so incredibly frustrating and sad to see yet another life taken so violently. I can’t imagine what her child will have to grow up with, knowing this happened. I’ve seen the community here in Woodbridge rallying to support her family, and it's heartwarming to see so many people donating to the GoFundMe campaign. It’s a testament to Rhemidee’s impact and how much she meant to those around her. If you haven’t had a chance to donate and are able to, every little bit can help ease the burden on her family during this terrible time. Also, I noticed there’s been some talk about domestic violence resources in Prince William County. It’s so important that we keep raising awareness and make sure that people know they aren’t alone and that help is available. Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight; you just never know what someone might be going through. Stay safe, everyone.

I cannot stop thinking about the little boy who lost his mother in such a tragic way. It's hard to comprehend how someone can go from physical confrontation to using a firearm, especially knowing children can be impacted so deeply. I wonder if there were any previous signs of escalating violence that might have been missed. It's deeply sad that Rhemidee's son will now grow up without her loving presence. I hope that the community can come together to support him not just now, but in the years to come. This whole thing just reinforces how important it is to take domestic disputes seriously and ensure those at risk have the resources and support they need. My thoughts are with Rhemidee's family and everyone affected by this senseless loss.
