Every time I read about a tragedy like the one on Berrenda Drive, my thoughts go immediately to the families involved, especially so close to Christmas. Seventeen is too young, and my heart aches for Jaqualin Houston's loved ones facing such a sudden loss. The peace and security of a neighborhood are shattered when something like this happens, and I can't imagine how terrifying it must have been for Amanda Fisher and others who heard those shots. Hopefully, the community comes together with information that leads to justice. It's vital for both healing and ensuring safety for everyone in the area. Stay safe, and let's keep those affected in our thoughts.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to bring up something that's been on my mind about the Fort Worth shooting on December 24th. I’ve been following this case closely, and it’s just so unsettling to think this happened right around the holidays. I can only imagine how devastating it must be for Jaqualin Houston’s family to lose him during this time of year. What really concerns me is the impact this has on the neighborhood. From what Amanda Fisher mentioned, it seems like such violence is rare in that area. It really makes you think about how it can change a community’s sense of safety overnight. I hope this doesn't become the new norm for them. Also, I wonder about the other two individuals who were injured. I pray they recover fully and can find peace after such a traumatic event. The fact that there have been no arrests yet is worrisome, but hopefully, the police are making progress. If anyone out there knows something, please step up and help bring justice for Jaqualin and help his loved ones find some semblance of closure.

Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about the impact this incident on Berrenda Drive has had on the Fort Worth community, especially given that it happened right on Christmas Eve. It's so jarring to hear about something like this happening so close to home during a time when most of us are preparing to celebrate with family and friends. I grew up near Basswood Boulevard and this neighborhood has always felt pretty safe, so it's hard to wrap my head around such violence taking place there. I can't even begin to imagine what Jaqualin Houston's family is going through right now, losing someone so young, especially at this time of year. My heart goes out to them and the other victims fighting for their lives in the hospital. It's crucial for the community to pull together right now to support each other and assist in the investigation. If anyone on here knows anything or has heard anything—no matter how small it might seem—it could make a big difference. Hoping for some answers soon, and that everyone involved finds some form of peace.
