I've been following the case of Jerome Gordon's tragic death, and something that really sticks out to me is the location where it happened. It's concerning that the area around the condemned house on Harrington Avenue had been occupied by unhoused individuals. Living in a neighborhood that’s already grappling with socioeconomic issues, it's tough to imagine the everyday reality for residents nearby. There was reportedly an argument before the gunshot, which makes me wonder about the circumstances that led to such a tragic outcome. Did Jerome know the people residing there? Was he trying to help someone, or did things just escalate out of control for some reason we might not yet understand? I genuinely hope the police's strong leads result in arrests soon. Jerome’s family deserves answers, and the community needs to feel safe again. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy. Please, if you know anything, reach out to Crime Stoppers. Remember, even the smallest detail can make a huge difference.
