I’ve been following Lanyah Dawson’s case since it broke, and I can't stop thinking about the tragic loss of such a young soul, especially someone who's a mom to a little one. I wanted to talk about how the area around Trail Ridge Road in Mt. Airy Forest is known for being so isolated. Why was Lanyah there at that time of night? Was she meeting someone who took a wrong turn, or was she lured there? Those details matter greatly in figuring out what happened. Considering that no suspects have been identified yet, I’m concerned about the possibility of this case going cold. Her family and especially her daughter deserve answers. Maybe she had friends who’d visited that area before or knew why she might have been there. I'm really hoping anyone who knows anything, no matter how small it might seem, contacts the police. Her child will grow up with questions, and it’s crucial that justice is served for Lanyah’s sake.
