I can't help but feel for the families of John Miramontes and George Yzquierdo during this incredibly difficult time. It's just devastating to think that two lives have been taken in such a senseless way. I noticed that Amy Pendleton was on probation when this happened, yet there weren’t any active arrest warrants. It makes me wonder if some changes need to be made in monitoring people on probation to prevent tragedies like this. The system seems to have gaps that need addressing. Knowing that the community in Los Lunas is grappling with this loss, I hope there's some measure of comfort in knowing Amy is in custody. It might bring a bit of relief, but it certainly can't erase the pain and loss these families are feeling. My heart goes out to them as they navigate the aftermath and begin the journey toward healing. What do you all think about how probation violations are handled? Could stricter monitoring have possibly prevented this?
