Has anyone else been looking into the backgrounds of Garret Labonte and Linda Lambert? It's baffling how someone can have such extensive criminal histories and still manage to get their hands on weapons. Poor Gene Dares was caught in the middle of their dangerous game. It's clear that the system somehow failed to deter these repeat offenders, and it's incredibly frustrating. My heart goes out to Gene's family—especially his daughters—who have to deal with such a senseless loss. I hope they find strength in their memories with him and know there is a community here holding them in our thoughts as they navigate this incredibly tough time. I just can't wrap my head around justice sometimes; it feels like there's so much more we need to do to prevent these tragedies.

Hey everyone, I'm still trying to wrap my head around the whole situation with Gene Arthur Dares' tragic death. It's unbelievable that something like this could happen in our own backyard. I wanted to talk about the involvement of Linda Lambert, because her role in this is particularly troubling to me. It’s just devastating to think she orchestrated the meeting that led to such a violent end. It's hard for me to understand how someone could set up another person like that. What was going through her mind? Did she realize the extent of the risk when she made that call to Labonte to set up the supposed drug deal? It’s disturbing to think about her past and how it might have influenced her actions that night. I know Gene's family must be going through so much right now, reliving all these details as they try to make sense of losing someone so dear. My heart goes out to his daughters especially. It's infuriating that the actions of these two individuals, who had such long criminal pasts, have left such a lasting scar on this family and community. I'm hoping justice will be served and that Gene's family can find some peace in knowing those responsible are being held accountable. It won’t bring him back, but perhaps it will provide some solace during this incredibly painful time. Sending love and strength to everyone who knew and loved Gene.
