Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Tomohnd Newkirk, and one aspect of this that’s been gnawing at me is the location where it all happened. The TGM Bay Isles Apartments are in the heart of St. Pete, and I can't help but think about how a typically lively community spot is now marked by such a tragedy. It's hard not to feel for the residents there, especially the kids who might’ve known Tomohnd. How do you explain something like this to other teens in the area? I’ve seen some discussions about community safety initiatives. Do you think there's something more that can be done, not just to make these places safer but also to help the community heal and support each other through this? It's just so incredibly sad, and my thoughts are really with everyone affected, from Tomohnd's family to the people living in that neighborhood. If anyone's from the area or knows more about local programs in place, it would be great to hear if they're doing anything special in response to this.
