Just read about the tragic incident involving Deon Bell outside Kings Meat Market. It's so deeply upsetting to think about what Mr. Bell's family and friends must be going through right now. I came across some details about Harvey Murphy, the employee who tried to help Mr. Bell after he was shot. It's clear he did everything he could to offer comfort and support in that chaotic moment. I can't imagine how distressing it must have been for him to see someone in such a dire situation and feel helpless despite his efforts.
While the authorities work to piece together the events leading to this senseless act, I hope the community steps up to provide any information that might bring answers and some kind of solace to those grieving. If anyone was in the area that morning or knows anything at all, even if it seems minor, please consider reaching out to the St. Petersburg Police.
