I’ve been following this distressing case like many others and am trying to wrap my head around it. One thing I can't stop thinking about is the 911 call. I just can’t imagine the panic and terror in those moments. It’s incredibly brave of someone to make that call amidst all the chaos and danger. It makes me hope more people will step up when they see signs of trouble to possibly prevent such horrors in the future. My thoughts go out to the families and everyone affected. I hope the community finds ways to support one another and begin the slow path toward healing.

It's so incredibly difficult to grapple with the tragedy that happened on East Evans Avenue. My heart goes out to Alondra, little Aaliyah, and their entire family. What especially stands out to me is how crucial it is to pay attention to the signs of family turmoil. Clearly, everyone involved knew each other, yet it seems the conflict escalated to a point where such a devastating outcome occurred. It boggles my mind just thinking about how important it is for communities to have resources and support systems in place for families grappling with these kinds of issues. If only there were more ways for those under duress to safely reach out for help. Sending love and strength to all involved—no one should have to endure this kind of pain. Please, if you're in a similar situation or know someone who might be, encourage them to reach out to support networks, social services, or helplines. It might make all the difference. Stay safe, everyone.
