I’ve been thinking about how our society addresses domestic violence after hearing about Justice Lopez. It's so painful to see how cases like hers remind us that there's still work to be done in protecting young women and raising awareness about abusive relationships. Justice was so young, and it’s terrifying that something like this could happen in what should have been the safety of her own home. I hope this tragedy prompts more conversations and action within the community to ensure that resources for individuals in abusive situations are more accessible and widely promoted. We need to ensure people understand the warning signs and have a safe way out—before it's too late. My heart goes out to Justice’s family and friends. Stay strong and remember there’s a community out here willing to push for change in her memory.
