Hey everyone,
I've been following the recent tragedy in Compton involving Theresa Pina. I'm trying to wrap my head around the actions of the suspect that night. It really makes you wonder about the mindset of someone who would go through such deliberate actions, crashing into a car and then chasing down Theresa like that. It's incredibly unsettling.
I can't help but think about why he chose to end his life right after. Was this a planned act of violence, or did things spiral out of control? The lack of information isn't helping, and it's so tough knowing Theresa and her family were caught up in such an awful situation.
My heart goes out to Theresa's family, especially with the burden of planning her service and dealing with multiple losses. It's times like these that make you grateful for the support of friends and community. Hoping they find some peace and resolution as more details come to light.

I’ve been thinking about how strange and chilling it must have been for the people inside the business where Theresa sought refuge. Imagine being in a place you consider safe, and suddenly, chaos erupts. I feel for those witnesses who had to experience such a terrifying and tragic event firsthand. Not only have they lost a sense of security in what’s supposed to be a regular day, but they also became unwilling participants in a tragedy.
It’s hard to fathom the impact this must have on not just Theresa’s family, but also the employees and patrons who were there. How do they begin to process and heal from something like this?
