Hey everyone, I've been reading through the posts about Ryan Hamilton's tragic passing, and I wanted to bring up something that’s been on my mind. It’s deeply upsetting to think about how many young lives are cut short due to violence. Ryan was only 20 years old and had so much potential ahead of him. The fact that he was found with multiple gunshot wounds makes me question how we, as a community, are addressing issues like this. I grew up close to Humboldt Park, and while it's an area filled with vibrant culture and tight-knit families, it's heartbreaking to see it constantly plagued by violence. It makes me wonder how many more stories like Ryan's have to surface before real changes happen.
