Just thinking about Jason D. Barrett and the Roseland neighborhood today. It's absolutely devastating how violence seems to have a grip on this area. I was reading about the shooting on South Parnell Avenue, and it just makes you worry for everyone living there. Jason was only 24, just starting out in life, and it's such a tragedy that his future was stolen from him. I feel for his family and friends who have to navigate this painful reality without answers or justice yet. It seems all too common that these cases leave loved ones with endless questions and an empty seat at the table. I hope for peace and strength for those affected and that we see some progress in making these communities safer. Has there been any word on potential leads or suspects?
I've been reading through some of the details surrounding Jason D.
