I've been following the Luis Deleon case closely, and something that's been really sticking with me is the way the community rallied together during the search efforts. It's truly inspiring to see so many volunteers from groups like Texas EquuSearch dedicating their time and energy to finding Luis. These volunteers, many of whom didn't know Luis personally, put in hours upon hours of hard work not just for the closure they could bring to the Deleon family but out of a genuine desire to help those in need. The discovery of Luis’s remains must have been a devastating moment, yet it also marked the beginning of bringing justice for him and his loved ones. It’s moments like these that restore a bit of faith in humanity—seeing how people can come together during the darkest times to support each other. My thoughts remain with the Deleon family, and I hope the trial brings them the peace and justice they deserve.
