I was recently reading about the tragic case of Joan Frank, and it's difficult to wrap my head around. One aspect that really struck me is the courage shown by her daughter. It must have been incredibly traumatic to witness such a horrific event and then attempt to save her mother’s life. Being a physician, she probably felt an overwhelming responsibility to help, and I can’t imagine the strength it took to perform CPR in those circumstances. My heart goes out to her and the rest of the family as they navigate through this nightmare. It's a painful reminder of how quickly life can change and how domestic violence impacts so many lives around us.
