Hey everyone, I’ve been following Timothy Lee Braswell’s case for a while now and something that's really piqued my interest is the weather conditions on the day he went missing. I did a bit of digging and found that there was a small craft advisory in effect due to high winds and choppy waters in the area on September 3, 2021. Given that Timothy was an experienced kayaker, I wonder if the dangerous conditions caught him off guard, or if something else happened. It's so baffling to me how he could disappear without a trace despite the search efforts. Anybody local who remembers what the weather was like that day or has thoughts on how it might have impacted his route? Would love to hear opinions or insights.
Has anyone else wondered about the weather conditions on the day Timothy went missing? I've been looking into historical weather data and it seems there was a pretty strong wind coming from the southeast on September 3, 2021. That could have made the waters really choppy, especially for someone kayaking. I'm curious if that has been fully considered in the search efforts. Did it force him off course or possibly cause him to capsize? It might be useful for anyone who might have been in the area or on the water that day to share what they experienced—any unusual waves or currents? Just trying to think of all possibilities since the area was already known to have dangerous conditions. It's puzzling how his kayak or any gear hasn't been found if that’s the case.
