I’ve been following this case closely, and I can’t stop thinking about the claims Tracy made about the gun accidentally discharging. From what I understand, firearms like the Smith & Wesson M&P .40 caliber have several safety features to prevent accidental discharge. It’s baffling to me how dropping it would cause it to fire unless there was some serious negligence or tampering involved. I’m not an expert, but I wonder if investigators are looking deeper into the gun’s mechanics or consulting a firearms expert. Given the serious charges against Tracy, I hope all aspects, especially the technical details of the firearm, are thoroughly examined. My heart goes out to Charlie’s family during this incredibly difficult time. They deserve to know the truth about what happened, no matter how complex the investigation proves to be.
