Has anyone else been thinking about the impact on the tire shop owner's family, especially the young kids who witnessed the shooting? I can't even begin to imagine the fear and confusion they must be dealing with right now. It must be incredibly hard for them to return to the shop knowing what happened there. I'm a parent myself, and I can't help but worry about how they're coping with the trauma.
It's a somber reminder of how these horrifying events extend far beyond just the immediate victims. I know the owner held vigils to pray for peace and safety, which must be a daunting task considering what his family went through that day. Sending thoughts and strength to everyone involved. If anyone knows of a way to support the family or if there's talk of any community initiatives, please share.
