I’ve been following the case of Alan Wilson's tragic death, and something that stands out to me is the location where he was found. Old Alton Bridge, or Goatman's Bridge, is so deeply rooted in local folklore that it adds an eerie layer to the whole situation. I’ve read all sorts of stories about the site being haunted or a hotspot for ghost hunters. It's known for being desolate, which might be why it's concerning that someone chose that particular spot. It's chilling to think his life ended in a place like that, which is typically just part of local legends. My heart goes out to his family and friends—it's unimaginable what they must be going through. The police reaching out for public assistance shows how crucial community input can be. Let’s hope anyone with even the tiniest bit of information comes forward to aid in solving this case. Anyone who knew Alan described him as a giving soul, and he deserves justice.
