I’ve been following Robert Smith Jr.’s case with a heavy heart, and what strikes me is the deep loss felt by those who knew him. By all accounts, Robert was a dedicated father and a loyal sibling, someone who left a profound impact on his loved ones. It’s tragic to think of him sitting in his car enjoying music, only to have his life taken so suddenly and violently. One thing I hope might bring some comfort and possibly justice to his family is the possibility of surveillance footage. If anyone was in the area that night or knows someone who lives or works around 31st Avenue and Baseline Road, please check any footage from April 16, 2016. Even the smallest detail could be crucial. Robert’s family and little girl deserve answers. No one should have to endure this kind of loss without knowing why it happened. Let’s keep pushing for the truth, and if you have any information at all, please come forward. It could make all the difference.
