I’ve been following Andrew Lee Garza Jr.'s case and I can’t stop thinking about the role his parents and teachers must be playing right now. Losing a child, especially in such a sudden and violent manner, is unimaginable for any parent. His family's world has been turned upside down, and yet they have shown remarkable strength by organizing a vigil in his honor. It’s a touching reminder of the support systems that rally together during times of unspeakable grief. Hats off to W.B. Ray High School for stepping up with grief counseling. I hope all of Andrew's friends find some peace and healing as they process such a significant loss. The community feels this deeply, and it's beautiful to see them standing together. It makes me think about what more we can do to support our youth and stop this cycle of violence before it claims another promising life. My thoughts are with everyone affected in Corpus Christi. ?
