I've been following Ariel Cade's case and something that's been on my mind is the role of the Texas Anti-Gang (TAG) Center. From what I understand, they were conducting surveillance on an unrelated case when they witnessed the shooting. It makes me wonder if their presence inadvertently affected the situation. Could things have been different if they weren't there? Or maybe worse without immediate law enforcement action on the scene? I know this doesn't change the tragic outcome for Ariel and her family, but it's a detail that stuck with me. It's tough to think about what her young son and loved ones are going through right now. I'm glad they acted quickly to catch Hendrix, but it's painful to think about how these events have forever changed so many lives. If anyone knows more about the impact of TAG's presence, I'd love to hear your thoughts. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this devastating incident.
I just came across this case, and it's absolutely devastating. My heart goes out to Ariel Cade's family and everyone affected. It's so unfathomable that her life was cut short by someone she once trusted, and from what I’ve read, she seemed like such a devoted mother and friend.
One thing that really gets me is the role of the Texas Anti-Gang investigators who were on-site for a completely different reason and witnessed the entire nightmare unfold. Knowing that they were there and actually tried to help adds a different layer to it all. I can't help but wonder if there was anything more that could have been done to prevent it or how close they might have come to interceding before things turned fatal. Ariel's family deserves answers and justice for such a senseless tragedy. I'm keeping them in my thoughts as they work through this unimaginable time.
Has anyone heard more about the ongoing investigation or what the community's response has been like in support of her family?
Hey everyone,
I just can't stop thinking about the brave TAG investigators who were on the scene that tragic day. They were in the middle of their own operation and ended up being crucial in pursuing and apprehending Hendrix so quickly. It must've been such a shock to witness something so awful in the middle of their work. I hope they’re doing okay, given the circumstances. It's hard to imagine the impact this might have on them, both mentally and emotionally.
It’s a small comfort to know that Ariel’s family won’t have to wait for justice because Hendrix was caught almost immediately. For those interested, the GoFundMe for Ariel's son, Leighton, is still active, and any contribution might help him in the long run. My thoughts are with her family and everyone who's been affected by this shocking event.
Stay safe, everyone.
