I was reading through the latest developments on the tragic case of Marquis Green and De-mauriae Wayne Grinage, and I can't shake off how disturbing it is that there's still no clear suspect or motive. It's hard to imagine how the families are coping with such a sudden and violent loss, especially when there seems to be no answers or closure in sight. I think it’s crucial for anyone who might have been at the gathering or knows anything, no matter how small it might seem, to come forward. It could be the key to getting justice for both Marquis and De-mauriae. It’s easy to feel powerless in these situations, but coming together as a community can really make a difference. Also, I’m glad there are platforms where people can honor Marquis's memory. It's a small comfort, but sharing stories and lighting virtual candles allows us to reflect on the impact gun violence has on families and communities. Hopefully, awareness will drive more people to push for necessary changes to prevent these tragedies. My thoughts are with those who knew and loved Marquis and De-mauriae during this incredibly difficult time.
