Just thinking about Deandre Robinson and the impact his death must've had on his family and friends. Losing a loved one to gun violence is utterly devastating, and it's hard to imagine the pain and anger they must be feeling. It's especially tough knowing that this tragedy is just one of many that year in Chicago. I read that his neighborhood had been struggling with gang violence and crime for quite some time. Makes me wonder about the support those communities really have to turn things around. What more can be done to offer resources and support to the people living in these neighborhoods? How do we stop these violent patterns so others don't have to experience such loss? Hoping for change and justice for Deandre and all the others affected.
