I’ve been thinking a lot about those few moments between when the police responded and when Tristen was declared dead. For his mom, Kristen, it must feel like those minutes stretched on for eternity, knowing her son was caught up in such a senseless act of violence. It’s unfathomable to imagine how she and their family are coping right now. Tristen seemed like a remarkable young man, chasing his dreams and having graduated so early from high school. His bright future just vanished in an instant. I do hope the police can get to the bottom of this quickly. If anyone knows anything, even if it feels insignificant, it could be the missing piece detectives need. Let's keep Tristen's memory alive and support his loved ones in any way we can.
Has anyone else heard what the community is saying about the possibility of surveillance footage from neighboring homes on Avenue I? I’m hoping someone might have caught something on a security camera. It’s been almost a month, and I can't stop thinking about how Tristen's case needs all the help it can get. It breaks me to see another young life lost so soon, and I can’t imagine what his mom, Kristen, must be going through right now. For anyone who has any connections in that area, maybe reaching out to ask might help move things forward. I came across Tristen’s case and it really struck a chord with me. I can't stop thinking about how young he was and everything he still had ahead of him.
