Hey everyone, I've been following the updates on Markel May's case. One aspect that's really troubling me is the impact this incident must be having on the local community, especially given the prior incident involving Markel near Price T. Young Elementary. It's unsettling to think about how this cycle of violence affects not just the individuals directly involved, but also the community as a whole. I've seen statements from local law enforcement urging people to speak up if they have any information. It's clear the authorities are trying to tackle the gun violence issue, but it has me thinking, what more can be done at the community level? Are there programs that could help prevent these tragic events from happening in the first place? My heart goes out to Markel's family and friends. Times like these remind us how vital it is to support and look out for one another.
