Anyone else following the Gerald Fields case in Onalaska, TX? I’ve been thinking a lot about how challenging this must be for his family and the broader community. Given that it seemed to stem from a family disturbance, it’s really weighing heavily on my mind. Conflicts can get out of control so quickly, and it's just devastating to see it end in such a tragic way. The cooperation between the Polk County Sheriff's Office, Onalaska PD, and the Texas Rangers makes me hopeful that justice will be served, but it still feels slow. I can’t imagine what the family is going through waiting for answers, especially with such limited information being released. Gotta wonder what led to this escalation. For those of you keeping up, how do you feel about the lack of details right now? Is it understandable as part of their investigative process, or do you feel it adds more stress to the situation?
