I've been going through old missing persons cases, and I can't stop thinking about William Henry Bryant, also known as "Widdy". One thing that caught my attention is that he called his family and said he'd be home soon, but then he just vanished. Has anyone looked into phone records from that time, or were they even available in 1975? I know the technology was completely different back then, but sometimes these little details can be key. Also, did he mention where he was calling from or if he was with anyone during that call? It might be a long shot, but any small detail could help piece together what happened. Anyone with more info or theories on this?
Hey everyone, just came across an interesting detail about the William "Widdy" Bryant case from '75. Not sure if it's been discussed here before, but I read that Widdy had a pretty distinctive car – a red 1967 Ford Mustang. I know it's been a while, but does anyone think there could be a connection with a car theft or maybe someone who had a thing for Mustangs back then? I can't help but wonder if keeping an eye on any old records of similar car crimes in the area could turn up something useful. I’d love to hear what others think – could this be a path worth exploring or am I reaching here?
Has anyone else looked into the fact that Widdy Bryant disappeared right around the time another young man went missing in the area? I stumbled upon a couple of old newspaper articles online that mentioned a similar case from around the same time. It's probably nothing, but I can't help wondering if there's some connection. It's eerie how both had ties to construction work, too. I know it's been almost 50 years, but maybe there's some link we've missed. Any thoughts or further info would be appreciated!
