I've been thinking about Gregory D. Johnson's case and can't shake off the feeling of loss his family and friends must be experiencing. It's hard not to notice how many lives are being shattered in places like Englewood, where the cycle of violence seems relentless. The lack of opportunities and resources is evident and with each young life taken, we're reminded of how crucial community support and investment really are. What else can be done to make a substantial difference? Gregory deserved the chance to live his life beyond these struggles, and it's heartbreaking that he, like so many others, was robbed of that future. How can we come together to prevent these tragedies? Thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.
