It's hard to comprehend the grief that Raul's family must be going through. I recently read about the situation at the warehouse party and couldn't help but think about how things might have been different if security measures had been in place. It's a rural area, so maybe the party organizers didn't anticipate things getting out of hand. I've seen discussions about similar events where security could’ve possibly intercepted before things escalated to violence. It won't change what happened, but maybe it's something worth considering for future gatherings. My heart goes out to Raul's family and Brian as he recovers, and I hope the community can come together to heal and prevent further tragedies like this.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the people who were at that party on March 25th and how much their lives must have changed after witnessing something so traumatic. It’s hard to imagine what it must have been like to experience such chaos and fear in what was supposed to be a night of fun. Raul’s friends and family lost someone so dear, but everyone who was there that night lost a sense of safety and trust in such gatherings. I wonder if there was anything that could have been done earlier to de-escalate the tensions between those two groups. It seems like things got out of hand so quickly. Friendships, relationships, and even community events probably won’t feel the same for a long time, if ever. My heart really goes out to the Ramirez-Reyes and Garcia families, and to everyone who had to live through such a terrible moment. Hopefully, more people start stepping in when they see tensions rising, even if it’s uncomfortable. We can’t bring Raul back, but maybe we can work towards preventing this kind of tragedy from happening to others.
