Has anyone else found it odd about the timing of Robert's letter? It was postmarked just a day after he left Fullerton, and if you think about it, getting from there to Solano Beach in that time frame isn't impossible, but it's not exactly a short jaunt either. What could have happened in less than 24 hours to make him write to his family saying he's fine? Could he have encountered someone or something that prompted him to send that letter as a signal or a sort of cover? Maybe he was already planning his next move and used Solano Beach as a pit stop. It's curious, and I keep thinking about what happened in that small window of time. Thoughts?
