Has anyone else read about how Feliciano Velez’s family is coping post-tragedy? My thoughts are with Alma and their loved ones right now—this must be incredibly difficult for them. It’s devastating to think about how Feliciano’s disabilities may have left him especially vulnerable in those critical moments. The fact that his family will never fully understand what he experienced is truly distressing. It’s hard to grasp how someone could be so callous as to target a person like Feliciano who would have had limited ability to defend himself. I sincerely hope the judicial process brings some semblance of justice, and that it can provide a sliver of peace for the Velez family. It’s so important for communities to support families in their quest for answers and justice during times like these.

Has anyone else been following the case of Feliciano Velez in South LA? I read about it, and it just left me thinking about how vulnerable our older family members can be, especially when they're dealing with health issues like visual and hearing impairments. It's really tragic that Mr. Velez, who was just living his life, couldn't fully grasp the danger he was in due to his disabilities. This should never happen to anyone, let alone someone who couldn't even see it coming. My heart goes out to Alma and the rest of the Velez family. I hope the authorities can get to the bottom of this and that justice brings them the peace they so deserve. Does anyone know how the suspect's trial is progressing? It's hard to imagine what drives someone to such senseless violence.

Does anyone know how the community is coping after Feliciano Velez's tragic passing? I can't stop thinking about how terrifying and chaotic the scene must have been, not just for Velez but for everyone around. It’s distressing to think about the fear the suspect spread while attempting those carjackings. One moment, it's a typical day, and the next, you're caught in a nightmare. I'm hoping the community can come together to support the Velez family and each other. If anyone's local, is there any organized effort to help the family, or perhaps something being done for the neighborhood’s safety? I’d be interested in any updates or ways to contribute. Sending thoughts to everyone affected.
