Has anyone looked into the possibility that Birdy might have left on her own accord? While it's clear her family wants answers and closure, there could be more layers to why she wasn't reported missing immediately. With the rumors about her lifestyle choices, maybe she felt she'd be judged or disowned by her community back then. It's troubling to think of anyone just vanishing without trace, but we need to consider all angles. Could there have been someone she was trying to get away from, or maybe she had a plan to start fresh somewhere else? Knowing her loved ones are still searching for answers decades later is motivating more people to look at her case with fresh eyes, and maybe—just maybe—someone out there knows a piece of the puzzle they don't even realize holds the key. Let's hope the renewed interest in Birdy's story leads to some breakthroughs. Thoughts, anyone?
