Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about that tragic night on May 5th in Otay Mesa West. What gets to me is how quickly things escalated. It’s stomach-churning to think that Robert and his friends couldn’t even enjoy an evening out at the park without encountering such violence. Robert had his whole life ahead of him, and it’s truly devastating for his family to face this loss. With everything I've read, it seems there were a lot of people around at the time of the shooting. It's hard to imagine no one saw anything. If anyone was in the vicinity or even driving by around that time, any small detail could really help. It must be immensely frustrating for the family knowing the suspects are still out there. Sending my thoughts to Robert's family and friends as they navigate through this nightmare, and hoping for a breakthrough in the investigation soon. If you know anything, please don’t hesitate to contact the authorities. This family deserves closure and justice for Robert. Stay safe, everyone.

I can’t stop thinking about the white sedan that was seen speeding off after the shooting. It seems like such a crucial piece to this tragic puzzle. If anyone saw anything that night on Coronado Avenue, even the smallest detail could make a huge difference in this case. My heart goes out to Robert’s family; they deserve answers and justice for their loved one. I can only imagine the pain they are going through right now. To think that Robert’s life was cut short just when he was starting a new chapter with his job is devastating. Let’s hope someone comes forward so his family can find some closure. If you know anything, please reach out to the authorities or Crime Stoppers. Every tip, no matter how small, could be the key.

It's been a tough few months trying to wrap my head around what happened to Robert Simmons Jr. I keep thinking about the boldness of that gang challenge. Why does it have to come to that? Here you have a young man, just starting a new chapter in his life with a security job, and he's confronted in such a brutal way. The fact that this group felt the need to escalate things so violently is beyond me. I'm hoping the SDPD can piece things together quickly—it's frustrating that these suspects still haven't been caught. My heart goes out to Leann and Alanna. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they're feeling, having to navigate a reality without their son and brother. If anyone reading this knows anything, no matter how small it seems, please consider reaching out to the authorities. It could be the lead they need.
