I've been following Garrett Sutton's case and my heart goes out to his family and friends. Such a promising young life cut short. I recently read up about his plans to advance from forklift operator to crane operator at the Port of Hueneme. It's evident he was someone working hard to achieve his goals. It's a tough reminder of how anyone's future can be abruptly taken away. I wonder if his coworkers at the port have shared any memories or tributes? Perhaps understanding his work ethic and relationships there could help shed light on this senseless act. If you're local or have any insights, please share. Keeping Garrett's loved ones in my thoughts.
I’ve been following Garrett Sutton’s case ever since I heard the news, and it’s just incredibly difficult to process something like this happening in our community. I didn’t know Garrett personally, but from everything I’ve read, it sounds like he was really dedicated to his dreams, especially with his work down at the Port of Hueneme. I mean, for someone so young to have such clear goals and ambition, it's truly inspiring.
It’s such an eerie feeling thinking about how a place so familiar to many of us, Fulton Street, could become the site of such a tragic event. For those who walk by there every day, it must bring a chill down the spine. My heart truly goes out to his family and friends, especially knowing they've set up a memorial fund in his name. It's a powerful way to honor Garrett’s life and hopefully provide some support to others facing similar tragedies.
If anyone is local and can contribute to the fund or provide any info to help solve this case, every little bit can make a difference. Let's come together for Garrett, even if it just means keeping his loved ones in our thoughts.
Wow, this case really hits home for me. I grew up in Camarillo and reading about what happened to Garrett makes my heart ache for his family and friends. I didn't know him personally, but we went to the same high school a few years apart, and it was such a close-knit community.
I'm really curious about what led up to the shooting on Fulton Street - it's not far from where I used to hang out with friends. It just seems so out of the blue and senseless. How does something like this happen in a place that feels so safe? It’s unsettling to think about, and I really hope they find the person responsible soon.
Garrett seemed like he had so much going for him, working hard and dreaming big about his future. It's deeply unfair that his life was cut short like this. Sending lots of strength and love to his family and hoping for some answers and justice for them soon.
